The Shock Sox Buffalo Creek Easy Money Pro Am video is now posted. Shand and the guys did an amazing job putting on this race. With plenty of local talent and tons of money up for grabs, this was an event not to miss. 30 minute motos plus one lap made the track as rough as it could possibly get.

Stay tuned, as the next At the Gate: a film about Texas Amateur Motocross DVD is coming soon...

If you weren't at Freestone County Raceway this past weekend, you missed tons of awesome racing. The track was rough, rutted, and hot. The event was ran smooth like always and Wes Cain kept the PA on fire. Team Green's Zeb Smith, had everybody in the stands on their toes. Going down in the first turn, Smith had his work cut out for him. By the fourth and final lap, he managed to work his way into second place. In typical "Zeb-style", Smith went through the Texas twelve pack wide open, grabbing the lead from Jason Langford, respectively. Zeb would took the moto win, along with several more through out the weekend. Jeremy Domingue, from Lafayette, also put in several good rides, sewing up another spot on the gate in Hurricane Mills. Houston area prospects, Beau Baldwin and Andrew Pierce ran up front most of the weekend, making the cut. Pierce would end up winning his last moto. Wes Cain couldn't stop talking about Houston rider, Andrew Segovia, who went down in the first motos, but turned it around in the second and third motos. Running in the top five a few motos, Segovia would end up right outside the top 6 overall. Bar to bar action would of course take place in the supermini classes, with Honda of Houston/EBR Lance Vincent rider, Brade Frace, Justin Boogle and Beau Hudson, all running about the same speed. Vincent would end up taking most of the overalls, but had plenty to keep him honest. Adam Cinciarulo was a well oiled machine as always. Plenty more riders were going fast, including Blake Dungey, Matt Bisceglia, Jason Anderson, Cade Moore, Austin Ullrich and Bryce Stewart. Event video will be up soon.

KC made a few changes to the site. I put together a little video of Spring, TX rider, Andrew Segovia. This is just a little preview of my current film, At the Gate II...expected for release December of 08. With summer approaching, expect some cool footage on the site...as long as gas stays under $4.00/gallon. Thanks for viewing.

Back from the three-race journey. Cycle Ranch hosted a Loretta Lynn's qualifer this weekend. Even with the small crowd, there was sure to be some excitement.

Dawson Draycott, on his KTM, won all of his motos. The first 85 moto saw Draycott out front, but Honda of Houston's Kyle Swanson, managed to show Draycott a wheel or two. Swanson, would end up going down hard on his shoulder, putting him out of the action.

New Mexico's Corey Dry, and JC Chappell, had a great battle up front in the Lites B class, until they both went down hard off of the big uphill. Neither would finish the race.

Honda of Houston's Vann Martin, pulled the holeshot in the schoolboy class on his CRF150R and never looked back; Martin won the first moto.

In other news, Oak Hill video is still in the works, and we have some funny material from this weekend at Cycle Ranch...stayed tuned.

Two down, one to go. After attending the Spring National at Lake Whitney, and then the 32nd annual Vurbmoto.com GNC at Oak Hill, King Creations will be headed to Cycle Ranch this weekend for the Loretta Lynns Area Qualifier.

Oak Hill hosted some of the best racing we have seen in a long time. After getting a ton of rain early in the week, the staff at Oak Hill got the track in great shape. In fear of it raining again Saturday night, they decided to run all 45 motos on Saturday. Zach Bell and Jessy Nelson had one of the most epic battles in amateur racing. Bell, who lead the entire five lab race, swapped and went down in the last corner, taking out Nelson as well. They both jumped up to start their bikes, with Nelson getting to the finish line 1st, while Bell finished 3rd. Later, Nelson was protested for jumping on a yellow flag and passing Bell, which he realized he did, and pulled over, giving Bell the lead back.

Challen Tennet, represented Texas well, with a 3rd overall in his 50cc class. Suzuki's Kyle Regal, put it together for his first championship this year, but didn't stop there; Regal was on the box all weekend.
